This right here is a picture of Infinix mobility teasing the launch of another smartphone before they call it a wrap for the year.
As the picture above depicts, this new device would be given a street name Infinix big 6 (just as the zero 2 called Infinix hero).
A few hours ago, mobility (Hell! we love this site) leaked exclusive photos of this new device set for launch on the 27th of this month. Along with the pictures came speculated specifications. If those speculations are anything to go by, then we are in for a treat.
We have predicted a price tag of 35 – 40k for this device based on the speculations and the pricing history of this OEM – but remember it’s just a prediction.
Infinix mobility has done a nice job pleasing their customers over the years.
They are one of the few budget-centric OEMs that have consistently rolled out updates to their devices (although some not over the air).
This has made us think back to what a great 2015 Infinix mobility have had in terms of user reception and phones released.
From January up till this moment, Infinix mobility launched just 4 smartphones, and from statistics, every single one of these smartphones has done well.
Oya go and look for popcorn! Let’s take a trip down memory lane. 🙂
Infinix Smartphones This Year so far
Infinix hot note.
Infinix couldn’t have started the year any better!
Back in January, following the success of their widely embraced (and cheap) Infinix hot (X507) smartphone, they launched the hot note (X551).
Remember we still have chronic power issues down here?
They pierced the heart of every Nigerian with the fact that the Infinix hot note came with a massive battery (4000mAh).
Massive battery means more waiting time to get the device up to 100% juice, but they knew that as well and then turned the tables by inculcating fast charge into the device.
Other aspects of the phone were impressive as well for the price it was sold for (#24,500).
Have a look:

Infinix hot note Pro.
Some call it Infinix hot note 16 + 2, some; simply hot note pro. But we actually do not care!
All we care about is the fact that Infinix listened to their customers and beefed up the specifications of the X551 which was released earlier on.
Moving up from 1GB RAM capacity to 2GB and a few modifications, Infinix scored some points with this device as well.

Infinix hot 2.
Infinix mobility was having a great year (pre-august 2015), then Android one came out of the blue shipped under the hood of the Infinix hot 2.
Hell was let loose!
This device (for the first few weeks of its arrival) never stayed on the shelf for so long.
Immediately shipments where touching down at Jumia (official retail partner), they were heading straight to the consumers hands – Jumia reportedly sold over 5,000 pieces of this phone in minutes.
We have even recommended this phone as the best android below 20k in Nigeria at the moment.
Mobility (Oh this site again!) reported that a guy was even ditching his Infinix zero 2 for this device!
