Smartphone company, Gionee, pushed the Gionee S8s to the market recently with a wide notch which is dubbed “Notch Fullview Display”.
The device features a 5.86-inch display, 3GB RAM for multitasking paired with 32GB of expandable storage, dual rear camera setup and a 3000mAh power storage (battery).

You shouldn’t expect something extraordinary from the S8s design. It features a wide notch cut out at the top which contains the front-facing camera, speaker grill, and proximity sensor.
A significant chin exists at the bottom of the device. It weighs 167.5g, is 8.75mm thick and comes painted in two colors options; Black and Gold.
There are three slots available on the Gionee S8s – Two Nano SIM slots and a microSD card slot for storage expansion. Security is provided by the fingerprint sensor that is situated on the rear.
The Gionee S8s comes with a screen that is moderate. The front has a 5.86-inch screen with a notch. Its resolution in pixels is 1520 x 720 and it has an aspect ratio of 19:9.

What controls the Gionee S8s at the processing levels is a MediaTek Helio P22 which has eight cores. Graphics processing is handled by an IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU with clocking speed of 650MHz. Performance specs not only end there as there’s a 3GB RAM installed for smooth switching between apps. Internal storage is pegged at 32GB which can be further expanded up to 128GB via an SD card.
For optics, the rear is fixed with dual lenses – A main 13MP lens supported by a secondary 5MP depth sensor camera, making portrait mode photos possible. At the other side of the phone – the front – lies an 8MP shooter which sees to selfie needs.
The power storage capacity of the battery is 3,000mAh and it is a non-removable battery.
