Silently introduced alongside the previously talked about Pouvoir 1 into the Nigerian market, the Tecno Pouvoir 2 continues where the popular Tecno L9 Plus left off.

Software, Design, Display
With the Tecno Pouvoir 2, you’d be getting an Android 8.1 (Oreo) dual SIM smartphone right out of the box which has support for both 3G and LTE.
This, unlike one of their most recent devices, isn’t Android Oreo GO, though, neither is it Android One. It’s the full Android Oreo skinned with Tecno’s proprietary custom user interface — HiOS.
Design-wise, the Tecno Pouvoir 2 takes a lot of cues from the Camon CM save for the different rear camera placement, the different looking antenna lines at the back, and the slightly larger form factor. The pouvoir 2, in front, still features that tall look the Camon CM has, having the same on-screen navigation panel.
The display on this device is a 6-inch 18:9 720 by 1440p IPS LCD panel having a pixel density of about 268 PPI with no form of screen protection covering the 2.5D glass on the display.
Performance, Hardware, Cameras
Under the Pouvoir 2’s hood sits an unnamed (for now) Quad-core MediaTek SoC which is clocked at about 1.3GHz, having graphics handled by most likely the Mali-T720 MP2 GPU and featuring just 2GB of RAM for a ‘seamless’ multitasking experience.
Onboard memory aboard the device is a meager 16GB out of which only about 10GB would be usable when powering the device for the first time. If you’d be needing way more than 10GB, you’d have the option of extending the memory by throwing in a microSD card into its dedicated slot on the device.
For selfies and snaps, the Tecno Pouvoir 2 sports an 8-megapixel front-facing shooter having its own dedicated flashlight for lighting in dark environments, while at the back, a 13-megapixel lens situated at the center of the top of the device having a dual-tone dual LED flashlight sitting directly underneath it is present.
The battery capacities of the Power lineup of devices was one of the major reasons users flocked to stores looking for the device and the Tecno Pouvoir 2 does not disappoint in this regard.
It features the same massive 5000mAh Li-Po battery as seen on the Tecno L9 Plus and thanks to the device’s OTG support, can be used to charge other devices.
Other noteworthy features of the Pouvoir 2 include:
