Software, Design, Display
The Lenovo K8 Note is a dual SIM Android Nougat device (version 7.1.1) which, as per normal these days, has support for LTE.
Coming in either black or Gold, the K8 Note has a unibody metallic build with antenna band placements visible at the top and bottom parts of the device’s rear.
Theoretically, the device is “splash resistant”, albeit not having any IP rating at the moment (at least, none that we can find), weighs around 180g, and has a thickness of fewer than 0.9 centimeters.
The K8 Note’s sports a 5.5-inch IPS LCD Touch display having a full High Definition resolution (1080 x 1920 pixels) and a pixel density of approximately 401 pixels per inch.
Performance, Hardware, Cameras
Within its unibody build, the Lenovo K8 Note features MediaTek’s Helio X23 — a Deca-core CPU clocked at 2.3 GHz for the Note — and a Mali-T880MP4 GPU for taking care of the device’s overall performance.
To efficiently handle concurrently running applications, the device ships with a RAM capacity of 3GB (there’s also a 4GB variant) and for storage of files and multimedia, 32GB of onboard storage is present (there’s a 64GB version too).
As hinted above, there are basically two memory configurations of the Lenovo K8 Note viz:
- A 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM K8 Note, and
- A 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM K8 Note.
The internal storage on both variants can be extended by means of a microSD card, though.
Cameras
For selfies and snaps, the Lenovo K8 Note features a 13-megapixel front facing shooter having an aperture width of f/2.0 and a dedicated LED flash for low-light lighting.
Behind the device, on the other hand, sits a dual primary camera setup.
This setup is made up of a 13-megapixel lens with an f-stop of f/1.7 and another 5-megapixel lens beneath it.
To the side of both cameras sits a dual LED flash light and directly under the setup is a Fingerprint sensor for securing the device.
In the aspect of power, the Lenovo K8 Note relies on a non-removable 4000 mAh Lithium Polymer battery which can be juiced up swiftly as the device, courtesy of the Helio SoC, supports fast charging.
